Law firm lender Counsel Financial proudly announces its sponsorship of the American Association for Justice’s Hot Topic Special Edition: Diversity in the Law seminar, being held November 29 – 30 in Charlotte, North Carolina. The company, exclusively endorsed by AAJ since 2006, is honored to support this continuing legal education program, which highlights the importance of promoting diversity and inclusion in the plaintiffs’ bar.
The event, which is being held concurrently with the Judicial Panel on Multidistrict Litigation hearings, will also raise awareness of the hurdles faced by minority groups in the legal profession. In particular, the agenda offers commentary on diversity in mass tort leadership, managing the public perception of race, gender and ethnicity and its impact on juries, challenges faced by women in the law, as well as a multitude of other issues currently encountered by the legal community.
